I think someone beat my dog and told him water is bad. Now he won't drink water!?

you should slowly and lovingly get him to drink water by, first put him in a room with only you , a dish of nice cold water and some treats. ok so first try to get him closer to the water and every time he gets closer to the dish- give him a treat, pet him and say "good boy". soon he will be drinking water like there's no tomorrow. i hope that helps :)
